Pokhara

Pokhara, a beautiful town lying 200km west of Kathmandu is one of the tourism hubs in Nepal. It’s a popular destination for adventure sports such as paragliding, rafting, ultra-light aircraft flights, etc. And, with boating, trekking, bird watching, and mountain biking as other attractions; Pokhara has it all. Its pristine air, the beautiful backdrop of the snow-capped mountains of the Annapurna range, and the serene Phewa, Begnas, and Rupa Lakes, make this destination ‘the Jewel of the Himalayas’. It is the home to exceptionally warm and is the beginning point for treks into the Annaourna Himalaya, which dominates the skyline. The area along Few Tal was the first camping ground for trekkers and has now developed into a popular tourist hub of this rapidly growing city. The major reasons to visit Pokhara are:

  • Venture to Few Lake, the largest and the most beautiful of Nepal’s lakes.
  • Travel to the old Pokhara Bazaar, and get to know the people and their culture.
  • Revel in the exceptional birdwatching opportunities in Pokhara.
