Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival
After your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, our (Quest Himalayan Trek and Expedition) will meet you and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. At 06:00 pm, we will meet you at the coffee shop for a brief detail about the upcoming adventurous trekking days.
Optional: You can add one night stay in Kathmandu to explore the cultural sightseeing here in the capital. You can visit World Heritage Sites such as Durbar Square, Monkey Temple, Pashupati Nath Temple, etc.
Day 02: Transfer to Syabrubesi – 6 to 8 Hours
After enjoying your breakfast at your hotel, pack your bags to leave. You will get transferred to Syabrubesi in a private tourist vehicle. The drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu takes about eight hours and passes through several rural lowland villages where you can observe the procession of a typical day of people. A scenic view of mountains and stretches of rolling hills will accompany you throughout your way. You will spend your night here in Syabrubesi.
Day 03: Trek to Lama Hotel from Syabrubesi – 6 to 8 Hours
After enjoying our breakfast, we will head towards Lama Hotel following the upstream of Langtang River. After crossing a suspension bridge, we pass through a stream. The walk continues along with forests of Rhododendrons, Bamboo, and various other alpine trees. Today is an easy walk despite the wavy nature of the trail. You will spend your night comfortably at Lama Hotel.
Day 04: Trek to Langtang Village from Lama Hotel – 6 to 8 Hours
After breakfast, you will move on through a trail along with dense forests which ascend towards Ghoda Tabela. The views of Langtang Ri and Langtang Village from here are just magical. As we move towards the Langtang Village, prayer flags, Chortens, Mani walls, watermills, etc., accompany us. We will spend our night in a warm lodge in the Langtang Valley.
Day 05: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa – 4 to 5 Hours
We will leave this beautiful village after breakfast, we move on through high pasturelands where yaks graze. Today’s walking is mostly alongside the mani wall, and across wooden bridges, a high altitude atmosphere can be felt as we reach our today’s final destination, Kyanjin Gompa. We will spend your night comfortably enjoying dinner at a lodge here.
Day 06: Hike from Kyanjin Gompa to Kyanjin Ri – 4 to 6 Hours
Today, it’s a day full of exploration. Today, you will hike to Kyanjin Ri in the morning. Heavenly landscape views of Langtang range from joy to the eyes at the elevation. After you return from the morning hike, you will explore the Kyanjin Gompa; a settlement area for the Buddhist community people. Moreover, Kyanjin Gompa is the place where you spend your night.
Day 07: Trek to Lama Hotel from Kyanjin Ri
Today, we walked past the gorgeous trails to get back to Lama Hotel through Ghoda Tabela. The route to Lama Hotel is mostly a descent, an easy, and pleasant walk. We will spend our night here at the Lama Hotel.
Day 08: Trek to Thulo Syabru – 6 to 8 Hours
After enjoying our breakfast at a hotel, we will descend to the Landslide. From Landslide the route gets separated, one leads to Syabrubesi and another lead to Thulo Syabru. We will ascend from the landslide to Thulo Syabru. From here you can enjoy the amazing views of Langtang Lirung and various other Tibetan Himalayan ranges. You will spend your night at a tea house.
Day 09: Trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa – 6 to 8 Hours
The trail starts with the steep ascent path passing through Dursagang (2660m) and leading to Foprang Danda (3200m). Throughout the trail, you will pass through breathtaking views of Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, Tibetan Mountains, forests of oak and hemlock, etc. After finally reaching Sing Gompa after a few hours of walking, we will visit the cheese factory. You will spend your night here at Sing Gompa.
Day 10: Trek to Gosaikunda Lake – 6 to 8 Hours
After enjoying your breakfast, you will start your trek to Gosaikunda. On our way to our final destination today, we will pass through Cholang Pati, Lauribinayak, etc. From the Lauribina Pass, you can have the opportunity to enjoy the 360-degree view of the high Himalayan peaks. The trail from this pass to Gosaikunda is comparatively easier and flat. Before reaching our final destination where we will spend our night, we pass through two lakes, i.e., Saraswati Kunda and Bhairab Kunda. According to ancestors, Gosaikunda was created by Lord Shiva when he pierced a glacier with his trident to obtain water to quench his thirst after swallowing a poison that threatened to destroy the world.
Day 11: Trek to Dhunche from Gosaikunda Lake – 6 to 8 Hours
After exploring the lake area in the morning, we will then start to descend down the same path towards Cholang Pati and Lauri Binayak. The trail is all about reaching Dhunche, the district headquarters our home for tonight.
Day 12: Drive to Kathmandu – 6 to 8 Hours
Today, you will get transferred to Kathmandu and say goodbye to the Himalayas. After reaching Kathmandu, check-in and rest until dinner time. Today there is a special dinner hosted for you guys.
Day 13: Departure
After enjoying your breakfast, you will get transferred to the airport for the flight to your hometown. Say goodbye to Nepal until your next trip here.

Therefore, before you book your Nepal trekking or peak climbing, please read this packing list carefully and arrange it with you. The following are the list of equipments that we suggest to you for trekking in the Himalayas of Nepal.
Trekking Boots: You must pack sturdy and comfortable hiking waterproof boots that provide support and protection to your feet and ankles. Also, be sure that you tie and untie the laces with ease and check that the boot has deep-cut traction on the sole.
Backpack: Choose a backpack with a good quality having of capacity 40-60litres to carry all your gear and personal items. Duffle bag or kit bag is necessary to carry gear while trekking.
Sleeping Bags: It is best to carry your own sleeping bags. For trekking in high-altitudes in Nepal, we advise you to carry a warm and lightweight sleeping bag rated to at least -25C.
Clothing: You will need a variety of clothing depending on the season of your trekking. But for any season trekking, always carry quick-drying, moisture-wicking clothes. Also not to forget the layers are very important for adjusting to changing temperatures during trekking days. So, choose the best brands for a base layer, insulation layer, outer layer, trekking trousers, shirts, waterproof jackets, etc.
Trekking Poles: The use of poles during trekking days is very essential as they help to reduce the impact and stress on your joints and make your trekking days easier, especially on steep and rugged terrain.
First Aid Kit: Don’t forget to carry a first aid kit with essentials such as antiseptic, bandages, pain relievers, blister treatments, etc.
Water Filtration System: Rather than buying bottled water in every lodge, or tea house, we suggest you carry a water bottle with a built-in filter or water purification tablets for safe drinking water.
