Day 01: Kathmandu – Syabrubesi (1500m): 7 hrs drive
After you arrive in Kathmandu, our team’s representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel safely. After the check-in, you rest in your comfortable rooms or can even go out and explore the surroundings independently. In the evening, a welcome dinner is hosted for you guys at a renowned traditional Nepalese restaurant. Today, you will taste Nepalese food while enjoying the scenic view and cultural program.
Day 02: Syabrubesi – Lama Hotel (2470m)
Syabrubesi is the gateway to the Langtang National park as well as the renowned Tamang Heritage Trail. Early morning, get transferred to Syabrubesi on a private tourist bus. Along the way to Syabrubesi, admire the beautiful scenery. After 7-8 hours of driving you will arrive at Syabrubesi.
On today’s trails crossing a bridge over the Langtang River, witnessing natural beauty and forests, and walking on plain and rugged trails, we will pass through many villages. After passing through the beautiful villages of Mundu and Gumna Chowk, we will finally reach our destination; the Lama Hotel. We spend our night comfortably here in Lama Hotel.
Day 03: Trek to Langtang Village (3430m): 6 hrs
A pleasant trek to the stunning Langtang village ascending a steep trail. We walk through the jungle surrounded by rhododendron, maple, oak, hemlock, etc., and witness a glimpse of Mount Langtang Lirung. After crossing the beautiful Tamang villages Thomna, Ghode Tabela, and Buddhist Monastery, we will finally reach Langtang village. The Tamang culture, tradition, and lifestyle are very well reflected in their warm hospitality. After enjoying the local cuisine for dinner, we will spend our night comfortably here in Langtang village.
Day 04: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3865m): 3-4 hrs
Kyanji Gompa is one of the top attractions in this region. Before reaching Kyanji Gompa, we pass through the largest mani wall made up of stone, wheels, Chortens, water mills and holy engraved rock. After walking for hours on flats, ascending and descending the trail, we will reach our destination, Kyanjin village. Today, we will spend our night in Kyanjin village.
Day 05: Exploration of Kyanjin Gompa
Kyanjin is a perfect place for acclimatization as it is very important to trek smoothly in further days of trekking adventure. After enjoying your breakfast, we will explore the Kaynjin Gompa. The ancient paintings are the highlight of this Gompa, visit the nearby cheese factory and hike for 30 minutes if you wish to see the glacier. After this, you have three choices to explore such as Tsergo Ri, Kyanjin Ri, and Langshisha Kharka. You will ascend to three of these places where you can witness the snow-capped mountains, attractive valleys, frozen lakes, etc. Move back to Kyanjin after admiring the scenery. We will spend our night here in Kyanjin.
Day 06: Trek to Lama Hotel: 6-7 hrs
Today, we will trek back to Lama Hotel bidding farewell to this beautiful Kyanjin village. We take a relaxed walk downhill admiring the amazing surroundings and backdrop of snow-capped mountains. We will spend the night at Lama Hotel.
Day 07: Trek to Thulo Syabru (2210m): 5-6 hrs
Today we trek down to Pairo and then cross a river to walk uphill to reach Thulo Syabru. We will walk through the peaceful trail admiring the breathtaking sceneries, breathtaking views of Langtang ranges, Tamang village, etc. Then, we will finally reach our destination Thulo Syabru after walking for hours.
Day 08: Trek to Cholangpati (3654m): 6-7 hrs
On the way to the trail, we ascend through small villages such as Durdagnag, and Foprang Danda surrounded by beautiful rhododendron, hemlock, and oak forest. As we trek forward towards the Buddhist monastery Shin Gompa, we can witness the outstanding views of Langtang and Ganesh Himal in the background. You can also visit the local cheese factory if you wish to taste it. Then, we move forward to our destination Cholangpati. We will spend our night here in Cholangpati.
Day 09: Trek to Gosaikunda Lake (4380m): 5 hrs
An adventurous long trek through Lauribinayak to Gosaikunda Lake is a lifetime experience. We pass through a Sanctuary for endangered Red Panda. En route to Lauribina, enjoy and admire the stunning views of Manaslu, Langtang, and Ganesh Himal. Gosaikunda Lake is sacred and has great importance for Hindu and Buddhist devotees around the world. Besides this, there are many small and big lakes in the surroundings like Bairav Kunda, Saraswati Kunda, Dudh Kunda, Amar Kunda, etc. The beautiful scenery of the Gosaikunda Lake and surrounding lakes with a breathtaking backdrop of snow-capped mountains is heavenly. Explore this natural beauty and capture the memories for life. Then, we will head to the hotel in Gosaikunda where you will spend your night.
Day 10: Trek to Gopte (3530m) via Lauribina Pass (4610m): 7-8 hrs
Today, we trek back to Gopte crossing small lakes and ascending uphill on a rocky trail to reach Lauribina Pass. Walking gradually ahead we will witness the stunning views of Mount Langtang, Manaslu, and Mount Ganesh, then slowly walk downhill to reach Gopte. We will spend our night here in Gopte.
Day 11: Trek to Kutumsang (2470m): 6-7 hrs
Today is a comfortable downhill walk through the verdant forest and inhaling the fresh air. On our way, we will fall in love with the Dorje Lapka and Shishapangma mountains while heading toward Magin Goth. After a little walk after reaching Marin Gorth, we will finally reach our final destination; Kutumsang village.
Day 12: Trek to Chisapani (2295m): 7 hrs
Today we will trek to Chisapani admiring all the scenic natural beauty, green hills, and forest, and passing many settlements. As from the name you can guess ‘Chisapani’ means cold water and weather, so here the weather is colder than in the village you have stayed to date. The spectacular views of Mt. Langtang, Ganesh, and Maslue are breathtaking from the hilltop surrounded by greenery and natural beauty. We will spend our night comfortably at a hotel in Chisapani.
Day 13: Trek to Sundarijal and return to Kathmandu
On this day, you will trek back to Sundarijal from Chisapani. Passing through the lush green forest, and big water reservoir, you will reach Sundarijal within a few hours. From Sundarijal you will ride in a private bus to return to the capital, i.e., Kathmandu. Enjoy your last dinner in Nepal at your hotel. You will spend your night at a hotel in Kathmandu. Tomorrow after enjoying your breakfast, complete the check-out procedure. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to your hometown. Therefore, before you book your Nepal trekking or peak climbing, please read this packing list carefully and arrange it with you. The following are the list of equipments that we suggest to you for trekking in the Himalayas of Nepal.
Trekking Boots: You must pack sturdy and comfortable hiking waterproof boots that provide support and protection to your feet and ankles. Also, be sure that you tie and untie the laces with ease and check that the boot has deep-cut traction on the sole.
Backpack: Choose a backpack with a good quality having of capacity 40-60litres to carry all your gear and personal items. Duffle bag or kit bag is necessary to carry gear while trekking.
Sleeping Bags: It is best to carry your own sleeping bags. For trekking in high-altitudes in Nepal, we advise you to carry a warm and lightweight sleeping bag rated to at least -25C.
Clothing: You will need a variety of clothing depending on the season of your trekking. But for any season trekking, always carry quick-drying, moisture-wicking clothes. Also not to forget the layers are very important for adjusting to changing temperatures during trekking days. So, choose the best brands for a base layer, insulation layer, outer layer, trekking trousers, shirts, waterproof jackets, etc.
Trekking Poles: The use of poles during trekking days is very essential as they help to reduce the impact and stress on your joints and make your trekking days easier, especially on steep and rugged terrain.
First Aid Kit: Don’t forget to carry a first aid kit with essentials such as antiseptic, bandages, pain relievers, blister treatments, etc.
Water Filtration System: Rather than buying bottled water in every lodge, or tea house, we suggest you carry a water bottle with a built-in filter or water purification tablets for safe drinking water.

Langtang Gosaikunda Trek is best suitable during spring(March, April, May) and autumn(September, October, and November). The combination of weather and temperature is perfect during these times. During these seasons weather is nice and you can also enjoy the walk while viewing the beautiful scenarios under the blue sky.
Any trekker with an average level of fitness can finish this trek. However, the trail will be hard to walk for the first couple of days if you have not prepared nicely before the journey.
